Can a Laptop Set Itself Up? AI Agent vs 5 Linux Hardware Bosses

I bought a Lenovo Legion Pro 7i with a fresh copy of Windows and wiped it. The challenge: a local AI agent sets the new machine up on Omarchy, and I type only what it tells me to type. No cloud model, no pre-downloaded drivers. One Qwen 27B running on the RTX 5080 through Ollama, 65K context at 2-bit quantization.

The machine had five hardware bosses waiting, and I found them before the wipe: silent quad speakers (AW88399 smart amps), missing fan modes and charge cap, and the NVIDIA stack on a 240Hz OLED. Each boss is worth 20 points, and points come off when I help. The local model cleared three of five and failed at two. Both failures needed me to supply a fact, not a command, and that gap is where the next video goes. Final scoreboard: 60/100.
